Corrections, disputes, and removals
London Tattoo Shop Guide is an independent directory of tattoo shops across London. We build listings from publicly available business data and calculate scores using a fixed, published rubric applied uniformly to every shop. The rubric analyzes public Google reviews to generate both the score and the review summary that appear alongside your listing. Listing a business here is free, and no payment changes a score or ranking position. This page explains what you can correct, dispute, or request removed from your entry. Fixing factual details
We can update factual fields in your listing when you provide the correct information and something that verifies it. Acceptable verification includes your website, your Google Business Profile, or other official business records. The fields we correct are your shop name, address, phone number, website URL, opening hours, and services offered. Once a correction is applied, it remains locked in place through future data refreshes, so you will not see it revert.
Challenging your score
Scores are never manually adjusted, so a dispute means claiming the input data is wrong. This covers three types of error: your listing is matched to the wrong business, reviews are attributed to your shop when they belong to another, or our summary of what reviewers wrote is factually inaccurate. When you file a dispute, we re-check the sources and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request for a higher number; it is a claim that the data feeding the calculation is incorrect.
Requesting removal
We remove listings when a business has permanently closed, is a duplicate entry, or falls outside this directory's scope as a tattoo shop. Our verification cycle runs monthly and automatically catches and removes permanently closed businesses. If your shop is open and in scope, a removal request will be declined with a clear reason why. We do not remove accurate, in-scope listings on request alone.

How quickly we respond
Every request you submit receives an acknowledgment within 5 business days. If your request is approved for removal, the listing is taken down within 7 days. Requests we cannot fulfill come back with the reason, stated plainly.
