Request a tattoo consultation

Fill in the form below and your details go to the team at London Tattoo Shop Guide. We read every enquiry and match it to a studio or artist on the directory whose style, specialism and location fit what you've described, then pass your details on so they can get back to you directly.

Tattoo shopping is different from most bookings: you're not just after the nearest studio, you want someone whose portfolio actually matches the design you have in mind, whether that's fine line, traditional, blackwork, realism or a cover-up. The more you tell us, the better the match.

What to include

  • The style you're after (or reference images if you have them)
  • Rough size and placement on the body
  • Whether it's a first tattoo, an addition to existing work, or a cover-up
  • Which part of London suits you, or whether you're happy to travel
  • Any date you're hoping to get booked in by

Consultations at tattoo studios usually happen in person or over a call before any appointment is confirmed, so this first step is just about finding the right artist to talk to. We don't book appointments ourselves and we don't have a fixed reply window, but most enquiries are passed on within a couple of working days.

FAQ

How long until I hear back?
We aim to pass your enquiry to a suitable studio or artist within a couple of working days. After that, reply times depend on the individual shop, some get back the same day, others take longer if they're mid-way through a busy booking period.
Does it cost anything to send an enquiry?
No, filling in the form and being matched with a studio is free. Any cost for the tattoo itself, including consultation fees or deposits some artists charge, would be discussed directly with the studio once you're in touch.
What if I don't have a finished design yet?
That's fine. A rough idea of style, size and placement is enough to start with. Many artists prefer to develop the final design with you during the consultation itself, so reference images or a general concept work just as well as a finished drawing.
